I am doing some work on William Petty. I cannot find in my notes
regarding a reference to the King mocking Petty late in his life on
account of the sinking of his double bottomed boat. I know the story
comes late in Strauss, William Petty: Portrait of a Genius but I do not
have access to the book. Any help will be very much appreciated.
