To the Twain list,
      1. Does anyone know of an edition of the original (1875) version
of "Old Times on the Mississippi" more recent and/or better annotated
than the only one I could find--Fred Lewis Pattee's reprint of the
serialization in his *Mark Twain: Representative Selections* (American
Book Company, 1935)?
      2. Does anyone know of a study of the changes Twain made to "Old
Times" when he revised it for inclusion in *Life on the Mississippi*?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
