I'm not sure, and I don't want to guess (read "draw flames"), but I gave
my brother-in-law, an older banker-professional-type who was born and
raised in Germany (still talks with the accent after decades in North
America) a copy of the essay. He was ROTFL with tears in his eyes after
every couple of paragraphs.
