By chance, there is an article on how to do an I-Search Essay in the Nov
97 issue of _Composition Chronicle_ that uses a student example on the
subject of Twain and Spiritualism.

It mentions two book titles (no other info):

The Haunted Dusk
Mediums, and Spirit Rappers, and Roaring Radicals

that the student claims were "invaluable" for the topic.

Worth a shot, I suppose.
