No I didn't know that, even though I am a Twain buff and an
amateur astronomer. However, it is a very appropriate honor,
because we know that at the end of his life, Twain was quite
taken with astronomy. In my 4 volume set of Paine's biography, I
remember the image of Twain playing pool and talking about the
distances between stars!
