PERSONS attempting to find a motive in their Elmira 2009 abstract this
weekend will be encouraged; persons attempting to find a thesis in it
will be applauded; persons who turn in their abstract on Monday after

Center for Mark Twain Studies

Developed abstracts of 700 words are due Monday, February 2nd, for
Elmira 2009:  The Sixth International Conference on the State of Mark
Twain Studies.

Final papers must be suitable for a twenty-minute presentation.

Papers will be reviewed anonymously by panel chairs.
