         In 1907 when Twain sailed to Oxford for his honorary degree, he
apparently met and socialized with a group of Georgians during the trip.
Among that group was a "Mr. and Mrs. William Cosgrove," according to the
single source I've seen.  Can anyone help me with more details or sources
for what to me is a striking bit of serendipity?  My  source is
"Mark Twain's Georgia Angel-Fish" by Doris Lanier, _Mark Twain Journal_,
Spring, 1986, vol. 24, no.1, pp. 4-15.  Thanks very much for any
information or suggestions.
        I posted this on the Forum last April, but got no replies.
