I wish to nominate Jennifer L. Rafferty's essay "The Lyon of St. Mark" in
the fall 1996 issue (just now into my hands) of the MARK TWAIN JOURNAL.
It is an important contribution to Mark Twain studies, full of new
information.
I'd like to write to the author but do not have a current address.  Does
any Forum subscriber?
