_Autobiography of Mark Twain, Volume 2_, the middle volume of the Mark
Twain Project's three-part undertaking, has been published recently by
University of California Press:
http://www.ucpress.edu/book.php?isbn=9780520272781

The book's free-to-use web version, built by MTP, has been released at
http://www.marktwainproject.org/xtf/view?docId=works/MTDP10363.xml;style=work;brand=mtpor
http://bit.ly/automt2

Our web version includes everything in the printed book--edited texts of
104 dictations (April 1906 to February 1907), explanatory notes, and
several appendices--plus well over a hundred pages' worth of textual
commentaries and apparatus, which describe each dictation's textual
situation and record its variants. Web-AutoMT2 also has some color scans
amongst the thirty-six photographs that follow page 300 (all b/w in the
printed book).

We hope you enjoy it!

Sharon Goetz

p.s. An answer to a frequently asked question: the Kindle/mobi and
Nook/Sony/etc. epub versions are overseen by UC Press; the audiobook is
published by Blackstone Audio.
