Dear Twainiacs:
Please refresh my memory here, which in a woman over 50, is dwindling
quickly. Having just read the biography of Charles Dickens, do I recollect
correctly that Twain heard him read and was not impressed? Wasn't it due to
the fact that Dickens had a bad cold and Twain could not hear him? Since I
do not have access to a Twain biography, would someone kindly answer these
questions for me?
Thank you very much.
Camy
