I saw the Twain poem in the Paine 6 file at the Mark Twain Papers.  See also
Arthur L. Scott's ON THE POETRY OF MARK TWAIN (1966), pp. 129-131.  I cite
all of this on p. 582 of MARK TWAIN'S LIBRARY:  A RECONSTRUCTION (1980).
