My memories of Vic begin with the publication of his American Skeptic book
which was a major assist to my master's thesis and then dissertation. I
don't recall which conference we met at, but it was a thrill to talk with
one of the scholars who helped set the stage for my early MT studies.

I also don't recall all the conversations we had over the years, but I
always found him warm, genial, and knowledgeable. He will be missed.
