I attend that show and there were no pics of Twain in India at the show.
There were drawings of parts of his book, and many pages of hand written material.

You might also write to the Morgan Library in NYC. They had a fantastic sh= ow on the late Twain last winter, with a lot of original prints from Follow= ing the Equator. They may have photos of T in India. --skh

There are several illustrations/photos which depict MT in India, in the India chapters of FOLLOWING THE EQUATOR, 1st edition. A nice, affordable facsimile is available from Dover; and of course the Oxford edition also ha= s those graphics reproduced.
