Jerry,
Your reading Joan of Arc caused you coronary distress. Ain't that a kick in
the head? Clemens himself touted Joan as his best work ever. What does that
say about the author Twain and his candid self appraisal of his own work?
Makes you rub your chin and wonder if in some way all of us are wrong about
our own regard for the best things we each ever did.
