Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful conference -- especially for a
first-timer. I enjoyed everyone and sure learned a lot from the
conference papers. I am going to put try to put a little piece together
with the chronology of the war in northeast Missouri in 1861 and post it
on the forum. I think it will be helpful to everyone -- just a little
thank you gift for everyone being so kind.
The only firm conclusion I came away from Elmira with is that Barb
Schmidt is really a set of quintuplet geniuses -- no one human being can
do everything she does! Elmira was the most interesting four days of my
year. If my wife should contact anyone please confirm we ate cornbread
and beans everyday.
