I have two questions for the group:
1) Which of Twain's daughters was it that said, during a dinner discussion, that Tom Sawyer was written by Harriet Beecher Stowe?
2) Which of Twain's daughters said something like, "Papa, if it keeps up like this, you'll become acquainted with everybody but God!"
BTW, this is not a trivia quiz, I don't know the answers myself -- but I do recollect reading about these events, the first in the Twain's home in CT, and the second during a European tour. - B. Clay Shannon
