If you look at the lists compiled by the ACLU and by People
for the American Way, you'll see that Maya Angelou is right up
there near the top of authors challenged in public schools.  I
believe she's ahead of Mark Twain.  "I Know Why the Caged Bird
Sings" is a frequent target.  The reasons given are the same used
against Twain, with the addition of s*x.
