I wish to thank Vic Fischer and various other individuals on the list
for explaining to me the history of book titles from the 1800's and how
the chapter titles in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and others
evolved.  It was very interesting.  My student intern and my students
will see a grand example of how listservs and the internet can assist
them in answering a question such as this.  Thanks again.
