I was hoping someone might help me find an article or discussion
of the ending of Adventures of HF which I either read or heard about
years ago. The basic argument had to do with the "evasion"
episode being compared to the treatment of recently freed slaves in
the South by whites after the Civil War. Strike a cord with anyone?
I realize this isn't much to go on, but I ran across this a long,
long time ago.

Thanks,
M. O'Conner
