Thanks, Gregg.  I know I've read one of your articles about WMB, but I
didn't realize you'd written one on Twain & the poem. I'll read it.   Isn't
it interesting, though, that T doesn't mention the poem?  He has so many
references to Kipling, including, if I remember correctly, to "Recessional."
But he seems to have been mum over WMB.  Frustrating.  --s
