The Milton Meltzer book "Mark Twain Himself" is long out of print. There
are some out there on the auction sites and used book sites. Most average
$20.00 or more.

There is a new book published by Ideals. It is part of their Great American
Series and is simply called "Mark Twain". It contains not as many pictures
as the Meltzer but has some of the more commonly known photos and sketches.
It also has a good narrative on Twain's life. Another attraction is a
running time line in the margins telling what was happening with Twain's
life and the rest of the world.

We of course stock this book! $17.95
