Wouldn't Kathy's objection to Richard Pryor, that he no longer performs,
also
apply to Vonnegut, who announced that his last book was...well, his last
book?.
I didn't know Vonnegut's MT connection, but I might uncharitably suggest
another
thing they have in common: they both went on too long after they stopped
having
anything new to say.
