We're sad to report the passing of Bill Faude, early curator at the Hartford house and a real pioneer in its 1960s-70s restoration -- which he chronicled in his book The Renaissance of the Mark Twain House. A real loss, a man of great spirit and knowledge and yes, great argumentative power .
