Hello Fellow Twainians

I am the chair of the "Mark Twain Circle" Session for SAMLA 2008,
Prof. John Bird, will be secretary for 2008 and chair for 2009.
The "Mark Twain Circle" section at SAMLA invites proposals on “Mark
Twain's Angelfish Club: was it a Writing Club? Or Something Else?.”
Presenters may discuss any of Twain's depictions of teaching writing,
the writing club or ?. The 2008 SAMLA convention will take place
November 7-9, 2008, in Louisville, KY. The 2009 SAMLA will be back in
Atlanta, GA. I'd like to thank Charles Martin for putting together a
nice panel for this 2007 SAMLA. Hope to see many of you in 2008!
