The birthday party this year in Hannibal was very pleasant.  Hal Bush came up and spoke about Twain, Religion and the Guilded Age -- a preview from his upcoming book.  The new executive director Regina Faden hosted.  It is exciting to have a new head for the museum with a Ph.D. in American Studies.  Cheers to Sam -- still intriguing after all these years.
