CALL FOR PAPERS
The Mark Twain Circle of America invites proposals for papers to be
delivered at the American Literature Association Convention in Baltimore,
May 27th-30, 1999 and also at the Modern Language Association Convention in
Chicago, December 27th-30, 1999. Please send one-page abstracts on any
Twain-related subject to MTCA President Prof Shelley Fisher Fishkin, Dept.
of American Studies, University of Texas, Austin TX 78712 (or email
[log in to unmask]) by January 5th, 1999 for the ALA, and by February
1,1999 for the MLA.
