Does anyone know if Twain used his own scrapbook (the one he patented)?

Also, does anyone know of an illustration or description of his:

-baby bed-clamp

-microscopic maps (or an explanation of why he thought they were necessary)

-inventions he invested in (besides the Paige Compositor and kaolatype),
including a cash register, spiral hatpin, envelope maker, weaving machine,
marine telegraphy, or clothing from peat

Thank you,
Cynthia
