Aloha,

I am doing a book involving Samual Chenery Damon, the Seamen's chaplain
in Honolulu for many years. There are several articles MT wrote in the
Sacramento Daily Union that I would like to photograph and use in the
book.

I could not find anything locally and Google searches seemed to pull up
microfilm. Are there any original papers available for the period in
1866 when Twain was writing from here?

Thanks,

Mac Simpson
