On behalf of a correspondent, I am passing this question to the
Forum:

On Sept 24 1887, Mark Twain wrote check #4324 to Wells Fargo $44.00
to cover the cost of moving ponies from Elmira to Hartford. As
I understand it, these were his daughters ponies. I would like to
know more about them; names, anecdotal incidences, any other tid-bits.
I have not read anything about them anywhere. Can you help?

Thanks for any assistance on answering this question.
