Dear Group:
Now please don't scold me or abuse me, as I am going to state a
proposal--trite? Perhaps. Hal Holbrook has invested a great deal of his
life portraying Twain. Has anyone made him aware of the plight of the
Hartford House? Would it be feasible to arrange benefit performances of his
Mark Twain Tonight at the Hartford House? I always wondered if he ever had
performed the work in that particular setting. Not being an attorney,
Couldn't some sort of discussion of an arrangement for ongoing financial
assistance be requested of Holbrook. Now, good folks, please don't scold a
mere B.A. in English Lit.
Forgive a trite question.
Camy
