The premiere of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," a new musical with book by
playwright Ken Ludwig ("Crazy for You," Lend Me a Tenor," "Moon Over
Buffalo") and songs by Don Schlitz ( two-time Grammy winner and four-time
ASCAP Country Songwriter of the Year, composer of twenty-five No. 1 country
songs), will take place at the Shubert Theater, New Haven on February 27,
2001. The show will run through March 11, prior to its Broadway opening in
April.
