Hi all, I'm trying to determine if Twain had heard of, read, or (best of all) commented upon Albert D. Richardson's Beyond the Mississippi. I seem to recall reading that he had requested a copy from Albert Bigelow Paine or from his brother Orion, but I've lost the reference, cannot find it, and am beginning to think that maybe I am mistaken entirely. Any clues would be appreciated.
