Good Morning Paul,

At Carleton we have used Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, where it was a institutional license. I believe that Adobe is moving towards the subscription model and not allowing for outright purchasing. However, we have recently moved to Foxit Phantom which appears to have the same functional, but reduced costs associated with a site license. I have not personally used the new Foxit software, but I hear good things from my colleagues.

I'm curious what other institutions are using as PDF editors. Adobe Pro? Nitro? PDF Architect? Open source products? Are you subscribing or bought the product outright?

I'm investigating options for us, and am interested in what PDF editing products others have found useful.
