We clearly need to link more with colleagues in chronic disease management
regarding the importance of social factors in influencing outcomes and
willingness and capacity for disease management. Challenging in areas
dominated by a more medical-individualized philosophy.

The ideological and epistemological gulf between public health/primary
prevention and clinical care/secondary prevention & managament is indeed
large....

Greater visibility of SoDH papers  in the international general journals
(JAMA, BMJ, NEJM) does help IMO
